Started by well-known local man, Jorge, Clwb Crown builds on the success of The New Crown restaurant situated in Merthyr Tydfil town centre. 

With a site secured to bring big name entertainment to the heart of Merthyr, Clwb Crown launched in 2022 with a line-up ready to put the town on the music scene map.

But! It’s not all about the big names….Clwb Crown offers a stage for grassroots bands from the Merthyr valley and beyond, helping them to have their very own spot in the sunlight.

With a newly launched street food kitchen, a gorgeous bar and outdoor area, Clwb Crown aims to be the place for families and friends to enjoy, relax and have a great time.

Working closely with our town we are proud to have been a part of events like the Merthyr Half Marathon and Merthyr Pride. Having created a welcoming, inviting and accessible space for our community we’re increasing well-being and smiles one event at a time!
